The Green Party is the fifth-largest party in the Swiss parliament. After the
introduction of a new logo a new flag was also introduced earlier this year.
This shows the new logo, rotated by 45 degrees, on a green background, bordered
white [16,17,18,19].
In the
French-speaking part a beach flag is also used, showing the old
logo (in the
French version) in white on a green field [20].

The GPS is the biggest opposition party in Switzerland, having 12 seats in the 200-seat lower chamber of the Swiss Parliament (Nationalrat = National Council). The GPS is a left environmentalist party. The logo shows a sunflower and usually incorporates the party short name in the respective language.
The flag is green, showing the party logo (sunflower) in white with pale
green shadow in the upper hoist, and also in the lower fly; between the two
sunflowers there is the diagonal inscription of the party name in three
languages (German, French, Italian), also in white with pale green shadow [1].
